I speak Russian.

I feel compelled to write a blog post specifically to the people in the world who spam my blog.  Lately, I’ve been receiving a lot of comments written in Russian.  Perhaps the people who submit the comment assume I don’t know how to read Russian and I’ll just approve the comment because it looks cool.  News flash, people:  I majored in Russian Studies.

Oh, yes.  I did.

This means when you submit a comment on my blog written in Russian that touts your online poker web site or–worse yet–your exotic escort services, I know what it reads…and I will not approve the comment.  Ever.  This is a blog to share images of newborn babies and children.  This blog is a way for me to share images with my clients and their friends…and future clients and future friends.

Go spam someone else’s blog.
